Wanås Long Run Destination features in Time magazine

This month Time magazine selects a handful of sculpture parks to draw readers out into the open.

Picked out of a global list featured on http://www.bbk.ac.uk/sculptureparks/, Wanås Long Run Destination rubs shoulders with Japan’s Hakone open-air museum near Mount Fuji; the Federik Meijer Gardens in Western Michigan, USA; the Billy Rose Sculpture Garden in Jerusalem; and the Storm King Art Centre in West of the Hudson River, near Manhattan. In the words of Time: “Grab a windbreaker and discover just how invigorating art can be.”

Wanås offers a combination of art, nature and history. Since 1987, it presents contemporary international art with a focus on site-specific installations. Wanås consists of a Danish medieval castle, an organic farm, an art gallery, and a sculpture park. The park is open all year.
